I know, I know. Yesterday was MindSpeaka Monday and I did not do a blog post. I did, however, post on Instagram. The image you see says it all. If your vision is looking a little hazy, wipe your lens and adjust your focus.
You drive what you capture.
Although this post a day late, it sentiment is so right on time! Let me explain.
In keeping with the mantra of adjusting one’s focus, since the move, my wife and I have been doing just that. Apart of the adjustment is getting out and networking with like-minded individuals and attending workshops to help build our knowledge on our goals for the future.
On Sunday we went to a discussion held by The Washington DC Write to Publish Group given by Robin Sullivan, the wife of and essentially, marketing mastermind behind author Michael J. Sullivan. The information for marketing your book release and using Kickstarter as platform to raise funds was nothing less than amazing!
Then tonight, I went to my first “Black Girls Think & Grow Rich” meeting to discuss Jen Sincero’s You are a Badass at Making Money. The energy, welcoming atmosphere, support and just experience was more than I could have ever imagined. I can’t wait to attend another get-together and learn more and share more with these ladies.
I’m just so inspired!!! I really feel like I am EXACTLY where I need to be. #Remember 2019 Themes is EXECUTION.
